4×4×4 Film Challenge Rules

To register for the 4x4x4 Challenge, please contact your representative Film Teacher. All registrations must be complete by participating schools only.

Film Brief:

Each participating team will be assigned a Film Brief on 2 March 2026 at 8 AM. The Film Brief will only be shared with representative Film Teachers.

General Guidelines

• Students will work in collaborative teams with students from their own school. 

• Filming must not begin before Friday, March 6th at 9 AM  

• Films must be complete and submitted by March 6th at 5 PM.

• Films must be 3 minutes maximum.  There is no penalty for shorter films. Given the time frame, shorter films are recommended.

• Each production team may include up to 6 people,

• Films must follow IB Guidelines for safe and appropriate content and approach. 

• Any films that do not meet these guidelines will not be eligible for awards.
